A proud graduate of Richland High School, Dr. Nikhil Malhan is honored to return to the Tri-Cities — bringing home not only advanced expertise in endodontics but a passion for educating the next generation of dental professionals.
His path began at Washington State University, where he earned his undergraduate degree, followed by a Doctor of Dental Medicine from Boston University in 2018. From there, Dr. Malhan pursued advanced endodontic training at the University of the Pacific, earning a Master’s degree in Endodontics with a concentration in microsurgical techniques and restorative preservation.
Now a board-certified endodontist and member of the American Association of Endodontists, Dr. Malhan focuses on patient-centered care and collaborates closely with general dentists to provide long-term solutions. His calming chairside manner and commitment to clinical precision have earned the trust of patients throughout Washington.
Alongside his practice, Dr. Malhan is deeply invested in dental education. He teaches weekly at the University of Washington’s Endodontics Department and will begin a faculty role at Pacific Northwest University in 2026. Every year, he travels to Guatemala to lead a hands-on surgical training course for residents at Universidad Francisco MarroquÃn (UFM) — an experience he finds incredibly rewarding.
Dr. Malhan also shares his insights with colleagues across the globe, having been invited to lecture at the American Association of Endodontists Annual Conference, where he contributes to ongoing innovation in his field.
Outside of dentistry, he enjoys traveling, swimming, snowboarding, cooking, and exploring the local culinary scene.
